Hi, I'm Mathieu René & I make creatures.

 

Puppets, masks & accessories are my main trade.

I offer art training and consultation/critiques/brainstorming (in person and online) in these categories. I'm an avid collector of techniques, so I migth be able to help you achieve your goals, or at least point you in the right direction, to the right people.

 

I also offer services in Illustration, painting & drawing.

All my creations look handmade, and the surface imperfections are usually featured and enhanced, for that extra layer of reality.  These objects and images look like they've already led a rich life.

 

I ship worldwide, and often work with customers I've never met in person.
